The Haringey Nursery Schools Training and Consortium (HNSTC)
The HNSTC was formed in 2011 by Haringey’s 3 nursery schools:
- Pembury House Nursery School & Children’s Centre,
- Rowland Hill Nursery School & Children’s Centre
- Woodlands Park Nursery School & Children’s Centre
The Haringey Nursery Schools Consortium is well known within the local community and is part of the Haringey family of schools. We provide practitioner led training with high quality mentoring and offer training delivered flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.
Haringey nursery schools have headteachers and teachers with specialist expertise and we are able to support a range of other practitioners and trainees in developing increased levels of expertise. This is acknowledged both nationally and internationally and is evidenced by the number of visitors who attend the schools. Training opportunities offered include NVQ at levels 4 and 5; training for integrated centre leaders, and placements for students from different types of courses. The Consortium works closely with the Local Authority to ensure that what is being offered matches local need.
