Admissions: How to apply

Step 1: Check Eligibility

Before applying, ensure your child meets the eligibility criteria:

• Age: We accept children aged 9 months to 4 years. You can submit an application before your child turns 9 months, but a birth certificate will be required.
• Funding: Check if you qualify for government-funded childcare, including 15/30 hours, Tax-Free Childcare, or Free for 2s.

Step 2: Complete & Submit Your Application

To apply, you must submit a completed nursery application form and funding entitlement form along with:

• Your child’s birth certificate
• Two proofs of address (e.g., utility bill, council tax bill)
• Any funding eligibility documents

✅ Applications must be submitted in person at the nursery – we cannot accept online submissions. If needed, we can print forms for you.

Step 3: Review Process & Nursery Tours

Once we receive your application, we will review your documents and contact you if we need any additional information.

📅 If you haven’t visited yet, why not book a nursery tour? This is a great opportunity to see our facilities and ask any questions.

📢 Important: We begin contacting families with an offer placement from 4 weeks in advance of the available start date. If you have any queries or would like an update on your application, please email our admin team at admin@woodlandspark-nur.haringey.sch.uk.

Step 4: Secure Your Child’s Place

If your application is accepted, you will receive an offer letter, contract, and entry profile form. To confirm your child’s place:

• Return the signed contract
• Pay a deposit (see our Admissions Policy for details)

Step 5: Get Ready for Your Child’s Start

Your child’s Key Person will contact you with next steps, including settling-in sessions and how we’ll support their transition into nursery.
