Admissions
The Centre has 105 full time equivalent places for children from 1 year to 4 years and we welcome children from the local community.
If demand exceeds the number of places available priority is given to the following children (Admissions Criteria):
- Children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs
- Looked after children
- Children with a social, medical or educational need
- Children who have brothers and sisters who live at the same address and currently attend Woodlands Park Nursery School and Children’s Centre
- Children living closest to the school
15 hours of free nursery education are available for eligible 2 year olds and all 3 & 4 year olds. 30 hours of free early education are available for eligible 3 and 4 year olds. There are also a range of childcare options for 1 to 4 year olds. 7 of our places are for children referred from Haringey’s by referral from the Early Childhood Network panel and we are very proud of the work we do to support the inclusion of children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. We also provide after school care and holiday care for 5, 6 and 7 year olds from local primary schools.
Application packs are available from the office or can be downloaded. These set out the current weekly cost of different places to parents. Application forms need to be returned by 31st March. They are then processed and places are offered starting in the September of that year.
Every year in the Autumn, governors review and update the Application pack. While this process is taking place it may be necessary for you to register your details with us and we will then send out the new packs to you when they are ready.
Please note: Nursery tours have now reopened. To book a tour please contact the nursery.
